With SonicWALL Anti-Spam Desktop, e-mail once again becomes a tool to enhance productivity—instead of a source of user frustration and a threat to security.
Each time a user opens an Outlook or Outlook Express client, Anti-Spam Desktop starts
scanning and evaluating each e-mail arriving into one or more inboxes via Exchange, POP
or IMAP. Anti-Spam Desktop queries the SonicWALL GRID Network and evaluates each
message. It then places identified spam in a SonicWALL Junk Mail folder, phishing e-mail
in a SonicWALL Phishing Mail folder, challenged e-mail (using the Challenge/Response
option) in a Challenged Mail folder, and legitimate e-mail in the inbox
